Hotel Regent Tower

Hotel Regent Tower is located on the road between Kumily and Thekkady. It’s a beautiful area with all the greenery and the spice plantations nearby. Our hotel is a tall building for this area, so you can see it from a distance. We’ve been here for several years now. It’s a family-run sort of vibe even though we have a good number of rooms. We see a lot of people who are coming to visit the wildlife sanctuary or the lake. The weather here is usually nice, so we don't always need the air conditioning, but it's there if people want it. We have a small team of workers who help with the cleaning and the food. The kitchen makes local Kerala dishes because that’s what we know how to cook. We don’t have a big fancy menu with things we can’t pronounce. It’s just simple food. The rooms are basic but they have a good view of the hills if you’re on the higher floors. We don't have a big marketing team, so what you see is what you get. It’s a bit of a walk into the main town, but most people don't mind because the air is fresh. We try to help our guests book their boat trips or find a good spice shop. It’s a quiet life here for the most part, and we like it that way.
