Our workshop is over at 36 Jay Bibi Road in Ghusuri. It’s an industrial sort of area, so we fit right in. We’ve been operating as Vishwkarma Engineer for a while now. Most of what we do involves fixing machinery and making small parts. It’s a lot of manual labor. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and we always have a project or two in pieces on the workbenches. It’s a narrow street, and getting deliveries in can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We don't have a website or anything like that; people usually just find us by word of mouth or by walking in. The light inside isn’t the best, but we know where everything is. We have a few old lathes and drills that have been with us since the start. They still work fine if you know how to handle them. We spend our days grinding, welding, and putting things back together. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. The guys here have been working together for years, so we don't need to talk much to know what needs to be done. We just show up, do the work, and go home. There is always a smell of oil and burnt metal in the air. It’s just how an engineering shop should be. We keep it simple and focus on the machines. It is what we know best.
