Roy Engineering Works

We have been running Roy Engineering Works for a long time now. Our main workshop is at 70/4 C Road in Bamangachi, Salkia, over in Howrah. We also have the registered office registered near Kona Mode at Khalia, right off the NH-6. It’s a busy industrial area, so there is always the smell of grease and the sound of metal hitting metal. Our hands are usually stained with oil or dirt by ten in the morning, and that is just the way we like it. We deal with all sorts of mechanical stuff and repairs. It is a noisy place to work, with the lathes and the welding machines going most of the day. We don't have any air conditioning in the shop, so in the summer, it gets pretty sweaty, but we just drink a lot of water and keep at it. The floors are concrete and covered in metal shavings that we have to sweep up every evening. We aren't the type of place that has a fancy reception area or people in suits. You’ll find us in our work clothes, probably trying to figure out why a particular piece of machinery isn't behaving the way it should. Howrah is a tough place for this kind of work, but there is a lot of history here. We’ve been part of this community for years, and we know most of the other shop owners on the street. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know.
