Our workshop is tucked away at No. 22/4/1 on Kuchil Ghosal Lane in Kadamtala. It’s not a big fancy factory, just a local spot where we get our hands dirty every day. We’ve been doing engineering work here for a long time now. Most of the day is spent at the lathe or working on some fabrication jobs that local people bring in. The place is usually a bit loud with the sound of cutting and grinding, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with metal. We don’t have a big office or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find one of us with a wrench or a welding mask on. If you have a drawing or a part that needs fixing, we take a look and see what can be done. It’s honest work and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with scrap and old projects, but we know where everything is. We don't spend money on advertising because people around Kadamtala already know where the shop is. They just walk in when they need something made or repaired. The machinery we use is old but it gets the job done right. We just focus on the measurements and making sure the parts fit like they should. It’s a simple life here, just keeping the machines running and finishing the orders as they come in.
