Saraswati Engineering Works

Our workshop is at Plot No. 70/6 on G. Road. This is in the Bamangachi area of Salkia. It is an old part of town with a lot of small shops like ours. Saraswati Engineering Works has been around for some time now. We do mostly metal work and fixing up different parts that people bring in. The shop floor is always covered in metal shavings and the smell of oil. It is loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. You just walk in and find whoever is not busy at the moment. We take on all kinds of engineering tasks, some small and some quite large. The machines we use are old but we know how to handle them. Salkia is a busy place and the traffic on G. Road can be a real headache in the afternoons. We try to get the jobs finished when we say we will, but sometimes things take longer than expected. It is just the way it goes with repair work. We are not a big company with a logo on every wall. We just have our tools and our hands. Most of our customers are from nearby and they know where to find us when something breaks down. It is greasy work but it is what we know how to do.
