S. P. Engineering

We’ve been working out of No. 14/ 2/ 2 on Natabar Paul Road in Kadamtala for quite some time now. S. P. Engineering is a typical local workshop. If you walk down Natabar Paul Road, you can’t miss the sound of metal work. The area is quite cramped and the traffic is always a bit of a headache, but we like being here. We do a lot of manual engineering work. It involves a lot of measuring, cutting, and grinding. Our hands are usually covered in oil or metal dust by midday. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy office. Most of our business comes from local people who need something fixed or a specific part made for their own machinery. We have a couple of old lathes that have been running since we opened. They need a bit of coaxing sometimes, but they still get the job done right. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we often work near the front door to get some natural sun. We’ve seen many shops come and go in Kadamtala, but we’ve managed to stick around by just doing the work as it comes. We aren't interested in being a giant corporation. We just want to keep the machines running and make enough to keep the lights on. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’ve got no complaints about it. We’ve been here long enough that we know every crack in the floor.
