Samanta Engineering Works

If you’re ever down near the Duillya Nimtala Bus Stand, you’ve probably seen us or at least heard the noise. Samanta Engineering Works is right there, and it’s usually pretty loud from early in the morning until the sun goes down. We do a lot of metalwork and fixing machines that have seen better days. The shop is full of grease, iron scraps, and old tools that have been around as long as I can remember. We don’t have a fancy office or a secretary to greet you. Usually, you just walk in, avoid tripping over a welding cable, and talk to whoever isn't busy at the moment. It’s a gritty job, and we usually go home with dirty hands and tired backs. The bus stand being so close means there’s a constant flow of people and traffic, which makes the day go by fast. We don’t do any marketing. We don’t even have a sign that looks that great. People just know we are here when they need something welded or a part made for a tractor or a pump. We don’t make big promises, we just take the job and try to get it done by the time we said we would. Sometimes we’re late if a machine breaks down, but that’s just how it goes in a small shop. It’s honest work for honest pay. We’ve been part of this spot for years and don't plan on going anywhere.
