Purnima Fabricators

Purnima Fabricators has been at 21/1 Panjari Para Lane for a long time now. If you know Salkia in Howrah, you know how crowded these lanes get. Our workshop is right there in the middle of it all. Most days it’s just the sound of metal hitting metal and the smell of welding smoke in the air. We started small, just a few tools and a lot of heavy lifting. My father used to say that if you work with your hands, the work speaks for itself. We don't have a fancy office or air conditioning here. It’s a real workshop with oil on the floor and stacks of iron rods leaning against the walls. People from the neighborhood come by when they need something fixed or built from scratch. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat of Bengal, but it’s what we know. We handle all sorts of fabrication jobs, mostly stuff people need for their houses or small shops nearby. Every morning we open the shutters and start the machines. It’s noisy and messy, but that is how a real fabrication shop should be. We just keep our heads down and get the orders finished one by one. There isn't much more to say about us really. We are just a group of people working with metal in a narrow lane in Salkia.
