Precept Engineering Enterprise

Down at No. 73 Upendranath Mitra Lane in Salkia, you'll find Precept Engineering Enterprise. It’s a workshop mostly. There's usually some noise coming from inside because we’re always fixing or making something. Salkia is a tight area, and our lane gets pretty crowded in the afternoons. We’ve been here for a while now. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains, but that’s expected in an engineering place. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door with a smile. Usually, someone will just look up from what they're doing and ask what you need. Precept Engineering Enterprise is just our small setup. We have some old machines and some newer ones too. No. 73 is easy enough to find if you know the lane. We don't use much tech for the business side of things, mostly just pens and notebooks for keeping track of jobs. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or talk by the door until it comes back. It gets hot in the summer, so we keep the big doors open for a breeze. Salkia has a lot of places like ours, but we just focus on what's on our bench. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just drop by at Upendranath Mitra Lane when they need something looked at. It works for us.
