Larsen & Toubro

We are located over at 1391 Mahendra Bhattacharya Road in Howrah. If you know the area, you know it stays pretty busy most of the time. We’ve been operating under the Larsen & Toubro name here for a good while. It isn't anything too flashy, just a solid building where we get our daily work done. Most of us have been coming here for years, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. There is always something going on outside the gate. We keep things pretty simple inside. It’s a mix of different people just trying to do a good job. You won't find any big corporate speeches here. We mostly just talk about what needs to get finished by the end of the day. The tea shop down the road is where a lot of us end up during breaks. It is a bit loud sometimes because of the traffic, but you get used to that after a week or so. We like being part of this side of town. It feels real. The walls might need a bit of paint in some spots, and the fans can be a bit noisy when it gets hot, but it works for us. We just show up, do the work, and head home to our families. It is a straightforward kind of place to work. We don't try to be anything we aren't.
