Our office is located at 41, M.C. Ghosh Lane in Howrah. It’s one of those narrow lanes that can be a bit tricky to find if you’re not from around here, but it’s home to us. We’ve been operating L&T’s local work from this address for quite some time now. The building is old and has a lot of character, just like most of Howrah-711101. Inside, we’ve set things up to be as functional as possible. We don’t have much space for luxury, so we just focus on the essentials. There are a few of us here every day, sitting at our desks and going through the daily grind. It can get pretty humid in the summer, so the ceiling fans are always on full blast. We handle a lot of paperwork and coordinate with different departments from this small hub. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but once you’re inside the office, it’s just about getting the tasks done. We don't use any fancy business talk. We just tell it like it is and try to keep our records straight. If something needs fixing, we fix it. If someone needs help, we help. It’s a very grounded way of working. We enjoy the local food from the stalls nearby and the general bustle of the lane. It’s a real place with real people doing their best every single day to keep things moving.
