Danieli India Ltd.

Our office is in the Kadamtala area, located at Arnab Apartment, 50,51/3 Kali Prasad Banerjee Lane. We are actually staying in a space care of Sakti Ghosh. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you aren’t familiar with the lanes of Howrah. The streets are narrow and crowded, filled with small shops and houses all leaning into each other. It’s a very traditional neighborhood. Our office inside the apartment building is modest. It’s a few rooms where we manage the Danieli India Ltd. activities for this side of the river. It’s often quite warm, so the fans are always spinning overhead. We have a lot of papers and ledgers because we still like to keep physical records of everything we do. It’s not a high-tech looking place, but we have our computers and what we need to stay connected. The sounds of the lane—people calling out, bells from the local temple, the occasional motorbike—are always there in the background. It feels very grounded and human here. We know the other people in the building, and there’s a sense of being part of the local fabric. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. We just do our work, manage the engineering details, and make sure the projects are moving along as they should. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup for us where we just get things done.
