Petron Engineering Construction Ltd.

We are based out in Fuleswar, in the Satmahal area of Uluberia, Howrah. This is where Petron Engineering Construction Ltd operates from in West Bengal. Being near the river and the industrial belts of Howrah means there is always construction work to be found. Our office is pretty basic. It’s just a place to store our equipment and keep our records. We don't spend a lot of time decorating or making it look like a showroom. The floors are often dusty from the boots coming in from the sites. Most of our time is spent looking at technical drawings or talking to the guys on the ground. Engineering is a lot of fine details, and we have to be careful not to miss anything. We deal with all kinds of weather, from the heavy monsoon rains to the dry heat. It doesn't stop the work, though. We just put on our raincoats and keep going. We don't have a lot of fancy words for what we do. We build stuff and we make sure it stays up. Sometimes the machines act up or the supplies are late coming from the city. We just find a way to make it work. It’s a long day most of the time, and we usually end it with a bit of a chat about what needs to happen tomorrow. It’s just how things are done here in Howrah.
