We are based out of Bally in Howrah. North Technoprojects India Pvt Ltd is run from a space shared with Sri S Chandra. It’s not one of those big glass buildings you see in the city center. We deal with various technical projects around this area. The roads here can be a bit tricky when it rains, so we try to get our site visits done early. Inside the office, there are stacks of papers and blueprints everywhere. Most of us have been working in engineering or technical fields for years. We aren't doing anything flashy, just focusing on the job at hand. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and talk until the generator kicks in. It’s a very local feel. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers nearby. When a project comes in, we spend a lot of time just figuring out the small details so we don't mess up later. It gets quite humid here, so the fans are always on high speed. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales team. People usually find out about us from word of mouth. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with all the paperwork for the projects takes up a lot of our time. It’s a quiet life in Howrah for the most part, just steady work and getting things finished. We usually pack up around six and head home to our families. Some days are more tiring than others but we manage to get through it fine.
