You can find our office at the Canal Side in the Anudl-Mouri area of Howrah. We are located at S.N. Roy’s place, which everyone around here calls Suprova Purbapara. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but once you get here, it’s a nice spot. Being near the canal gives the place a specific feel. It’s quite different from being in the middle of Kolkata. We work for Larsen & Toubro Ltd and this is our local base for West Bengal. The office itself is pretty modest. We have our files and our computers, and we just get on with it. It’s a very humid place, especially in the rainy season, so the fans are always on full blast. We try to keep things organized, though it can get a bit messy when we are busy. We don't have any corporate slogans on the walls. It’s just a place where we do our work and talk to each other like neighbors. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn’t too bad. We know the local shops and the people who walk by every day. It’s a very human way to work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy building. We just want to do our jobs properly and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a simple, honest setup.
