S. S. Engineering Works

S. S. Engineering Works is located at 24 'S' Road in Mansatala. This part of town is a bit older, and the roads aren't as wide as the new developments. Our workshop is one of those places where you can smell the oil and the metal as soon as you walk in. We have got some old machinery that we have been using for decades, but they still work better than the newer stuff sometimes. The floor is covered in metal shavings most of the time, even though we try to sweep up every evening. It is a small operation, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. We don't have a front office or a waiting room. If a customer comes by, they just stand near the workbench while we talk. The lighting is a bit dim, so we have these big lamps hanging over the work areas. Mansatala is a tight-knit area, so we see the same faces every day walking past the open door. Sometimes we have to move our work out onto the street if we are handling something particularly large. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until late. We don't do any advertising; people usually just hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It has been like this for a long time, and we don't plan on changing much.
