Howrah Engineering Works

Howrah Engineering Works is located in a village called Gayeshpur. To find us, you’ve got to head toward Baluhati and look for the Domjur police station area. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city of Kolkata, but we like being out here in the Howrah district. The environment is a lot quieter than the industrial zones, though we still make plenty of noise with our engineering work. Our workshop is a basic structure, nothing fancy, just plenty of space for the heavy machinery and the materials we use. We’ve got a small team of local guys who really know their way around metal and tools. It’s the kind of place where we start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. There’s a lot of greenery around the shop, which you don't usually see with engineering businesses. We don't have a website or any big advertisements; most people find us through word of mouth in the local villages. We’ve been part of this community for years, and we prefer it that way. If someone needs something fixed or built, they just drop by the shop in Gayeshpur. We don't use complicated language or try to sound like a big international firm. We’re just a local engineering shop doing our best with what we have. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do.
