You can find us at 24 Hrishikesh Ghosh Lane over in Salkia. It is an old part of town with narrow streets. Sometimes it is a real struggle to get a vehicle through the lane if someone has parked badly. Our building has been here for a long time. The walls have that old look and the floors are stained with machine oil from years of engineering work. We have lathes and milling machines that have been running for decades. They make a specific hum that we are all used to. It's a bit dark inside until you turn all the lights on. We do a lot of metal work and custom parts for people who can't find them anywhere else. It is dusty and smells like cut iron and grease. We don't have a big sign out front, just the number on the door. People who know us just walk in. We spend a lot of time measuring things and checking blueprints on messy desks. There are scraps of metal in bins everywhere. Sometimes we stop for a smoke or a tea at the corner. It's not a fast-paced corporate office. We take our time to make sure the parts fit right. Salkia is a busy place, and we are just one small part of it, tucked away in the lane. We like it that way. It is simple and we know the neighbors. We just keep our heads down and do the machining work needed.
