Naskar Engineering Works

Down at No. 81/3 Dasarath Ghosh Lane in Bamungachi, you’ll find Naskar Engineering Works. It’s a busy little spot, mostly filled with the sound of grinding and welding. We’ve been in this lane for a long time. It’s a narrow road, so getting big deliveries in can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We do all sorts of metal work and repairs here. Our floors are usually covered in metal shavings and oil, no matter how much we sweep. It’s a proper workshop, not some clean showroom. We’ve got a handful of workers who really know their way around the machines. They’ve been doing this since they were young. We don't have a big office staff. Usually, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag before answering the phone or talking to a customer. It gets very hot in the summer with the machines running, but we have a few big fans that help a bit. People around Bamungachi know us as the place to go when something needs fixing or making. We don't do any fancy marketing. Most of our work comes from people just knowing we are here on Dasarath Ghosh Lane. It’s honest, physical work that leaves you tired at the end of the day. We take pride in just getting the job done right without any fuss or making things more complicated than they need to be.
