Sree Maruthi Granites

We’ve been running Sree Maruthi Granites for a good while now out here in Thorapalli Agaraharam. The yard sits quite close to Gollapalli Village, which makes it easy enough for folks to find us if they know the local roads. Most days start pretty early when the sun is just coming up. We get the gates open and start checking on the slabs that came in the night before. There is always a lot of dust because that is just how it is when you work with stone every day. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we keep our tools and take care of the paperwork. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it stays quiet for hours. We spend a lot of time walking around the lot, showing people the different patterns and colors that are available right then. Every piece of granite has its own look, so you never really know what you are going to get until it is cut and polished up. We have some heavy equipment that makes a lot of noise when it is running. The crew is used to it, though. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the yard gets a bit cluttered when a big shipment arrives. It is basic work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. That is pretty much how life goes for us here at the Thorapalli site.
