We are based out in Alur Village, right on the A.Samanapalli Main Road. If you go behind the Sipcot II area and look for Survey Numbers 367 and 368, that is where Marudhar Stones International Pvt Ltd is located. It is a big dusty yard full of different kinds of rocks and slabs. We spend our days moving heavy stones around and cutting them down to the sizes people ask for. It is not the kind of job where you can keep your clothes clean. By the end of the day, everyone is covered in stone dust. We have been in this part of Perandapalli for quite some time now. The sun can be really harsh out here in the open, but we have a small shed where we take our breaks and have our lunch. There are a lot of trucks coming in and out, bringing blocks from the quarries or taking finished slabs to customers. It’s a busy place and it can get quite loud with the big saws running. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us out in the yard or in the small office near the gate. We just try to get the orders right and make sure the stones aren't cracked or damaged. It is a simple business based on hard work and lots of heavy lifting. We know our stones well and we just do our best every single day to keep things moving.
