We've been set up here in Moranapalli for quite a few years now. Being tucked away in Sipcot Phase II Industrial Complex on IV Cross Road means we see a lot of industrial traffic every day. The yard gets pretty dusty when the trucks roll in. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always noise from the other factories nearby. My clothes usually end up with stone dust on them by noon. We mostly just spend our days moving slabs around and talking to people who come in looking for something for their floors. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the complex. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything, just the office and the stacks of stone. Some days are slower than others. We might just sit and have tea while waiting for a delivery. Most of the people who come by are locals or contractors working on projects around the Sipcot area. You get used to the rhythm of the place after a while. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a mess, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's not a complicated life. We know most of the guys working at the other units on this road. If you're looking for our gate, it's the one with the big stacks of grey and black rocks visible from the street. It’s just us doing what we do every day. We don't try to make it sound better than it is, it's just stone and a lot of heavy lifting for us.
