If you head down Krishnagiri Main Road in Denkanikotta, you’ll find us at number 52. That’s where Sati Granites India Pvt. Ltd. operates from. It’s a busy road and there’s always something happening outside our gates. We deal with a lot of granite, which means our yard is usually full of big, heavy slabs. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. The work is physically demanding and we’re often out in the elements, whether it’s raining or the sun is beating down. We don't have a polished showroom. It's more of a functional space where we get things done. When a customer comes by, we just walk them through the rows of stone. We talk about the different finishes and sizes we have available. It’s a straightforward process. Our office is a small room near the entrance where we keep the records and handle the money side of things. It’s usually a bit cluttered with folders and stone samples. We’ve got a good group of workers who know how to handle the stone without damaging it. It’s a long day, starting early and often finishing after dark, especially when a big order needs to go out. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized in the middle of all the heavy lifting and daily chaos.
