Sree Saravana Granites

We spend most of our days here on Rayakotta Road in Onnalvadi. It is a busy spot with trucks coming and going all the time. Sree Saravana Granites has been around for a bit now, and we mostly just handle the stone as it comes in from the quarries. Granite is heavy stuff, so there is a lot of lifting and moving things around the yard with the crane. Some days are hotter than others, especially when the sun hits the polished slabs and reflects everywhere. People from around the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to see what we have in the current stock. We don’t do anything too fancy here. It is just a lot of cutting, loading, and making sure the pieces aren't cracked before they head out to a site. Our yard is right there in Onnalvadi, so it is pretty easy to find if you know the main road. The crew here is mostly local guys who know their way around the stone. We keep things pretty simple. There isn't a big office or a showroom, just the open space where the material sits. It gets very dusty, and the noise of the saws is constant throughout the morning. Sometimes we grab tea from the small stall down the road when things finally quiet down for a break. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy. We just try to keep the inventory moving so things don't sit too long. That is how it goes.
