Rns Granites Pvt. Ltd. is situated in Addaguriki Village, which is part of the Kamandoddi Post area. Being out here in the village means it is a bit quieter than the big city, but the granite business is still plenty busy. We occupy the space at No: 193/4&5. It is a large enough plot to keep our stock organized. Most of the people working here are from the local area. We wake up early to beat the heat and start the cutting machines before the sun gets too high. There is a lot of water used in the process to keep the dust down, so the floors are always a bit wet. We focus on granite slabs of different colors and sizes. It is a practical business. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us covered in grey slurry from the saws. We just talk to the customers directly. Sometimes they bring their families to pick out stone for a new kitchen or a floor. We show them what we have and explain how the different cuts look. It takes a lot of patience to move these slabs without chipping them. We take our time with the loading. It is hard work, but it feels good to see a finished slab go out on a truck headed for a new home.
