Tiwari Food Corner

Rishra is a busy place and we are right here on Simla Satghara Road. Most days start pretty early when the milk arrives and we have to get the stove going. It’s a small corner in Pravash Nagar, nothing fancy to look at really. You can see the traffic passing by all day from the front counter. My uncle started this a while back and we just kept it going because people around here need a place to grab something quick. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we spend most of the time in the kitchen anyway. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded around lunch and it gets quite hot near the burners. We have a few benches for people to sit but most folks just stand or take their stuff home. The address is 1/B/5 and we’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by name. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the smell of the food cooking that lets people know we are open. It’s mostly just us working hard every day to make sure the boxes are filled and the tea is hot. The floor gets a bit messy by the afternoon with all the foot traffic but we sweep it up when things quiet down. It isn't a big corporate operation, just a local spot where the regulars stop by to chat while they wait for their orders.
