Kabita Catering Service

Our place, Kabita Catering Service, is located at 219/1 Rail Park, right near Sukanta Sarani in Rishara. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but that suits us just fine. We’ve been operating out of this house for several years now. It’s a family business, through and through. We use the ground floor for all our cooking and storage. When there’s a big event coming up, the whole house smells like curry and rice. We don't have a fancy storefront or anything. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they live in the Rail Park area. We handle all sorts of events, from small house parties to bigger gatherings in Rishara. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy pots and making sure the coal or gas is ready. We don't use any fancy machines; it's mostly done by hand. My sister handles the bookings and I do most of the market runs. We like the quiet vibe near Sukanta Sarani. It’s a good community. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when we have two orders on the same day, but we always find a way to make it work. We don't have a big mission statement. We just cook the food the way we were taught. It’s just honest work we do every day to keep things going. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. We just want to keep doing what we are doing.
