Jayanti Caterer

We are Jayanti Caterer, located near Bhadreswar Chowmatha. It’s a busy spot in Bhadreswar. We cook for local events. We've been here for years. The kitchen gets hot in the summer. We use big pots. We buy vegetables from the local market. My uncle started this. Now we all help. We do rice, dal, and fish. Simple food for weddings. We don't use fancy names for our dishes. Just regular home-style cooking. The Chowmatha is always crowded, so getting our supplies in can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We have a small team of cooks. They know how to handle groups. We don't have a glossy brochure. Usually, people hear about us from their neighbors. We just focus on the cooking part. Sometimes we stay up all night preparing for a lunch the next day. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring. We keep our space clean, but it's a working kitchen, not a showroom. Bhadreswar is a small place and everyone seems to know everyone else. We like being near the Chowmatha because it's central for us to reach different parts of the town. We don't do anything experimental. Just the usual stuff people expect at a party. It's hard work but it keeps us going. We’ve seen many kids grow up and then hire us for their own weddings. That’s how it goes here. It’s just us in the kitchen making sure things are ready. We don’t overcomplicate it.
