Trinath Caterer

We operate out of Kamar Para, right near the Chinsura Bazar. If you know the bazar area, you know it’s a constant maze of people and carts. Trinath Caterer is right in the middle of that energy. We get our ingredients fresh every morning because the market is just a short walk away. That’s a good thing about being in Kamar Para, everything is right there. Our kitchen isn't very big, but we make it work with the space we have. We spend a lot of time scrubbing the floors and keeping the counters clear because things get messy fast when you're cooking for a hundred people. The sound of the market is our background noise all day. We don't have a big fancy menu or a sales team. We just talk to the people who walk in. Usually, it's someone from the neighborhood planning a small event. We sit down, figure out what they need, and write it in our ledger. It’s all very old-fashioned. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the pots and pans to worry about that. The kitchen gets very hot in the summer but we've got a couple of big fans that help a bit. Chinsura is a place where people talk, so if we do a decent job, the word gets around. That’s how we’ve kept going. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. We've been here quite a long while.
