You can find Jhilmil Caterer right on Bandel Station Road, near the Bandel Junction. Being so close to the station means there’s always people passing by. We’ve been here for a while, making food for the people in this area. Our shop is a bit small, and it can get noisy with the trains nearby, but we like the energy. We spend most of our days in the kitchen. It’s a lot of steam and smells of spices. We do all the usual dishes for weddings and parties. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Usually, people just see our sign when they're coming from the station and stop in to ask about prices. We keep it simple and honest. We source our stuff from the markets around Bandel. Sometimes the rains make the Station Road a bit messy, but we still get the deliveries out. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to keep the kitchen running and the customers satisfied. It’s a lot of long hours, especially during the wedding season. We might look a bit tired sometimes, but that’s just because we’ve been up since four in the morning. We’ve lived in Bandel all our lives, so we know most of the families around here. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing by the tracks. We don't do anything fancy, just standard food for local functions and gatherings.
