Poresaba

Poresaba is located in Haridaspur, within the Pandwa police station limits. We are very close to the post office here in the Hooghly district. It is a quiet area compared to the big cities, but the post office brings a lot of local people through the street. Our building is a simple structure that fits in with the rest of the village. We have been operating here for a while and most people in Haridaspur know who we are. We don't have any corporate branding or big advertisements. Our work is just part of the daily life in this district. Inside, the space is functional. We have what we need to get our tasks done and not much else. It can get quite humid here, so we usually keep the doors open to let the air circulate. You might hear the local birds or the sound of a passing tractor while you are here at the shop. We deal with the locals and sometimes people from the neighboring villages come by if they have business near the post office. It is a slow-paced environment but we stay busy with the small things that keep a place like this running. We don't use any fancy technology, just the tools and books we have used for years. It’s an honest way to spend the day in Hooghly. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask for small favors.
