Chandan Engineering Works

We've been at No. 50/5 Ns Road in Rishra for quite a while now. Most people around here know the shop as the place where there's always someone working with metal or fixing some part of a machine. It gets a bit loud with the tools running, especially during the afternoons when we have several projects going at once. Hooghly is a busy area and we try to keep up with whatever comes through the door. Usually, it's small repairs or custom parts that people need for their own workshops or local businesses. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just grease, steel, and a few guys who know how to handle the equipment. Sometimes the paperwork gets a little messy because we're usually out on the floor actually doing the work rather than sitting behind a desk. If you walk down Ns Road, you can't miss us. The sign is a bit weathered from the rain over the years but it’s still there. We keep regular hours, though sometimes we stay late if a job is proving to be particularly difficult. It’s just how we do things here. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones, and we take care of them. It's not a complicated setup, just a straightforward engineering workshop in the heart of Rishra. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get it done right so the customer can get back to their own work.
