We have some machines, tools, and a lot of grease around sometimes. The shop floor is where most of the action happens. We aren't really the type to sit in air-conditioned offices all day. There’s always something that needs fixing or a part that needs to be fabricated. The building itself is older, but it serves our purposes well enough. We’ve got a handful of guys who have been with us for years. They know the equipment better than anyone. It’s often loud here because of the work, but that’s just how it goes in this line of business. Hoogly is a good place for this kind of shop. We get parts delivered and we send out the finished work to clients around the state. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here at Kcm Sarani for a long time. People know we do a decent job with the metalwork and engineering tasks. It’s a bit dusty and the tea is usually strong. That’s just the daily life at our engineering spot in Bhadrakali. We keep the machines running and the paperwork to a minimum whenever we can help it. We're just here to get the metal cut and the jobs finished.
