L. B. Engineering is tucked away at No. 67 Banerjee Para Street. We are in the Uttarpara area of Hooghly. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like it out here. The workshop has been at this same spot for a long time, and the walls have seen a lot of projects come and go. It’s not a polished or shiny place. There’s usually a bit of dust and the smell of metal in the air, which is how an engineering place should be, I guess. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just talk to the people who come by the gate. Banerjee Para Street is a narrow one, so getting big deliveries in and out can be a bit of a headache sometimes. But the neighbors are patient with us. We try not to make too much noise late at night. Most of our day is spent at the benches or working with the machines. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Uttarpara is a decent place to be based, and being in Hooghly gives us enough space to breathe. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to do the job right so we don't have to do it twice. That’s how we’ve always done things at No. 67 and how we plan to keep going for now. It’s a solid spot for us to work and stay busy.
