Our place is in U Block of DLF City, specifically at II/41. If you’ve been to Gurgaon, you know U Block is a very crowded and active area. There are so many people living and working here that it never really gets quiet. This Pizza Hut branch is always on the go. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area where it’s always warm from the ovens. We don't have a fancy office upstairs; we are right there where the food is made. The floor can get a bit slippery if we aren't careful, so we are always mopping. We handle a lot of delivery orders because of all the offices nearby. The delivery riders are always coming and going through the front door. It’s a small space, so we have to be organized to make sure nobody bumps into each other. We don't have any high-level mission statements or anything. We just make the pizzas and hope the traffic isn't too bad for the riders. The evening rush is the hardest part of the day, but we just push through it together. We have a few small tables for people who want to eat here, but mostly it’s a lot of packing boxes. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere where we just focus on the next order on the screen. It is a busy life but it keeps us on our toes.
