Dawat The Live Kitchen

Dawat The Live Kitchen is based at Shop Number 77 on the ground floor of the Huda Market in Sector 10a. We’re right near the Easy Day store, so we get a lot of people who are just out doing their grocery shopping. The "live kitchen" part just means you can see us cooking from where you're sitting. It’s a bit small, and it can get quite hot inside when all the burners are going at once. We don't have a separate wall between the kitchen and the seating area, so you’ll hear all the chopping and the sound of the pans. My brother and I run the place with a bit of help from a neighbor’s kid. We aren't professional chefs or anything, we just learned by doing it for a long time. The Huda Market is always noisy, and we've got cars parking right in front of our door all day. Sometimes we have to ask people to move their bikes so customers can actually get inside the shop. We don't do any big advertising or have a social media page. Most people just find us by walking past or hearing about us from someone else in Sector 10a. It’s a simple life running a small shop like this. We just keep the stove hot and the ingredients fresh. If you’re in Gurgaon and feeling hungry, feel free to drop by.
