Bistro Hospitality Ltd

Our office for Bistro Hospitality Ltd is tucked away in House No-242. It’s part of the Housing Board Colony in Saraswati Vihar, which is over in the Chakkarpur area of Gurgaon. It is not some high-rise glass building like you see in the rest of Haryana. It’s just a regular house where we keep all our things. The address 122002 is what we put on all our mail. Most mornings start with a bit of a struggle to find parking on the street because the colony gets pretty packed. There is a small park nearby where people walk their dogs. Inside the house, we have turned a couple of the rooms into workspaces. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving desks around last year. We spend most of our hours here just sorting through files and making calls. It gets noisy when the vegetable sellers come through the lane shouting their prices. Sometimes we forget to turn the water pump off and it overflows, which is always a mess. We have some old curtains that probably need washing. It is a very normal place to work. Nothing is very fancy or polished, but it works for us. We drink a lot of instant coffee and try to stay on top of the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit on the porch and wait for it to come back. That is basically us in a nutshell.
