Earth Italian Lounge & Bar

You can find us over at Sco 10, 11, and 12 in Sector 15 Part 2. We’re tucked right behind the 32 Mile Stone area in Gurgaon, which is a pretty well-known spot for anyone living around here. Earth Italian Lounge & Bar is a bit of a mix between a sit-down place and a spot to grab a drink. We’ve got these big windows that look out towards the street, and we spend a fair amount of time cleaning fingerprints off them. The kitchen is where the heart of the place is, and it usually smells like toasted flour and tomato sauce because of the pizzas. Our staff is a small group, and we’ve all gotten used to the rhythm of the place, from the quiet afternoons when we’re just prepping ingredients to the late evenings when the bar gets a bit more life in it. We didn’t go for that overly polished corporate look you see in the malls. The chairs are wooden, the lighting is just okay, and we play some music in the background that we actually like. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a little hum, but it keeps the place cool enough when the Gurgaon heat gets bad outside. We don’t do big speeches or marketing events. We just show up, open the doors, and make sure there’s enough ice and fresh dough for the day. It’s a regular business run by regular people who just like food.
