Our workshop is at Plot No. 70 on Street No. 2E in the Saroorpur Industrial Area. It’s a gritty part of town, full of workshops and small factories. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of a welding machine coming from somewhere nearby. Our place is no different. We have a big open floor where we do the fabrication work. It gets quite hot in the summer because the roof is made of tin, but we have some big fans to help out. There are piles of steel scrap in the corner and tools hanging on the walls where they are easy to reach. We aren't the type of people who spend much time in an office. Most of us are out on the floor with grease on our shirts. The yard is usually full of half-finished projects and raw materials waiting to be used. We have a small gate that stays open for the trucks. It’s a simple life of measuring, cutting, and joining things together. We have been in Saroorpur for years and we know the other shop owners around here. We help each other out with tools or advice when something goes wrong. It is a community of people who work with their hands. We don't have a website or a sales team. If someone needs something built, they just walk in and talk to us.
