Auto Engineering

Our shop is located right in the middle of Chandni Chowk, inside the Dhan Laxmi Rattan Market at Kucha Natwan. If you know this area, you know how packed and narrow the lanes get. We are at Shop No 1090/2 on the ground floor. We mostly deal with mechanical parts and small engineering bits that people need for their machinery or vehicles. It’s a small space, filled with tools and metal parts everywhere you look. It isn't the cleanest place because of the nature of the work, but we know where everything is kept on the shelves. Usually, people come in with a specific part they need matched or something they need fixed. We’ve been operating out of this market for quite a while now. The noise from the street is always there, but you get used to it after a few weeks of working here. We do the work as it comes in. There’s no big office or front desk, just the workbench and the stock. Most of our day is spent looking through catalogs or measuring things with calipers. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning until the market shuts down in the evening. Some days are slower than others, but there is always something to clean or sort. We just focus on getting the engineering side of things right for the folks who drop by. We’ve managed to stay in business this long by just staying put.
