Our workshop is at Number 1142 in Sector 58. It’s right in the middle of the industrial area, which is where we belong. The surroundings are mostly other factories and warehouses. It’s a gritty place. There is always the smell of oil and the sound of metal hitting metal. We work on auto engineering parts. Our floor is usually covered in tools and various components we are working on. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We’ve been in this sector for quite a few years. The building itself is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it serves its purpose. We don't have a big team of people in ties; it’s mostly workers in overalls who know their way around a machine. We start our day early when the air is still a bit cool. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and that throws off the whole day’s plan. We just deal with it. It’s practical work. We don't spend time on fancy brochures. If you come by, you’ll see us busy at the lathes or welding. It’s honest work, and we just try to get the orders out on time. The neighborhood is nothing special to look at, just lots of trucks and industrial activity, but it’s where the real work happens for us at Amar Auto Engineering.
