Mech N Arch Engineering Services is located on the first floor of Sher Singh Market in Naya Bas, Sector-15. It’s a typical local market setup, so there’s always a lot of activity downstairs. You have the tailor, the grocery guy, and a few small shops all right there. To get to us, you have to walk up a narrow set of stairs at Number 12. Our office is just a couple of rooms with some drafting tables and a few desks. It’s not very big, but it’s enough for the team we have. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and talking to contractors over the phone. The windows look out over the street, so we see all the people coming and going from the market. It gets a bit loud when the school nearby lets out or when there’s a festival, but it’s a lively place to be. We have a small balcony where we keep some potted plants that look like they need more water than they get. The walls are covered in calendars and maps of the local area. It’s a bit cluttered with rolls of paper and old files, but we know where everything is. We’re not a big corporate firm with a fancy address. We’re just a small engineering outfit working out of a market in Sec-15, trying to get the drawings right and keep things moving on the sites we manage.
