Metro Tadka

Metro Tadka is tucked into Sushant lok Phase 2 in Sector 57. We’ve got this spot on the upper ground floor at UG 15. It’s a busy little area, and we fit right in with the rest of the shops along the walkway. The smell of the food is usually what lets people know we’re there before they even see the sign on the door. We spend a lot of time in the back getting the spices mixed right for the day. It’s not a fancy setup, just some good burners and a lot of heavy pots that we’ve had for a while. The evening rush is when it really gets going for us. We get families from the nearby apartments and sometimes people who are just passing through the area. Our tables are simple, and the decor isn't something out of a magazine, but it works for us and our customers. We’ve had our fair share of kitchen disasters, like the time the sink backed up on a Saturday night, but you just mop it up and keep going. The staff is just a group of us who enjoy the work, even when it’s hot and the orders are piling up on the counter. We don’t have a big corporate office telling us what to do. We just make the food the way we know how and hope people like it.
