We’ve been tucked away here in Udyog Vihar Phase Vi at number 311 for a good while now. It’s a busy part of the city, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to their gates at the same time. Our office isn’t anything fancy, just a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets that probably need replacing, and a large table where we spread out all the blueprints and technical drawings. Most days, it’s just the sound of someone typing or the printer running in the corner. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites, checking on how things are coming along. It gets pretty dusty out there, so we usually come back with dirt on our boots and a lot of notes to type up. Being an engineering consultancy sounds like it’s all math and high-tech stuff, but honestly, a lot of it is just making sure the measurements actually line up when you get on-site. We have our regulars who drop by to talk about their projects, and we usually have some tea sitting on the corner of a desk. The air conditioning works most of the time, though it struggles in the peak of summer. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished. It isn't a flashy place, but the door is usually open if someone needs to ask a question about a structural plan or a specific permit issue. Alpha Engineers Consultants is just a place where real work happens.
