Sultanpur Goitha Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of the Khejurikothi Bhar area. Specifically, we are at Jagtamba Sahai’s place, marked as number 01. It is a solid old building that has seen many seasons. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some calendars on the wall and a few fans that hum all day long. The location is easy enough to find once you get into the local neighborhood. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with the people who grow things in the surrounding dirt. It’s a lot of back and forth, making sure everyone knows when the collections are happening. Sometimes the phone line acts up and we have to send someone on a motorcycle to deliver a message. That is just how things work here in Sultanpur. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation. We are just a group of people who know the soil around Goitha and want to make sure the work doesn't go to waste. The office floor is usually covered in a bit of grit from the road outside. We drink a lot of water from the clay pot in the corner because it stays cool even when the sun is beating down on the roof. It is a simple life, mostly filled with talk of fertilizers, monsoon dates, and how many quintals we can expect this time around.
