Prdf Seeds

You can find us at Prdf Seeds over on Canal Road. We are specifically at number 59 in the Shivpur-Shahbazganj area, right by Jungle Salikram. It sounds like a bit of a hike to get out here, but it's actually not too bad once you know the turns. We deal mostly with seeds, obviously, and our days are filled with sorting through bags and checking how the seeds look. It is a bit of a specialized field, but around here, everyone knows how important the right seeds are for a good crop. The building is older, and we have had to patch the roof a few times when the monsoon hits hard. Inside, it smells like dry earth and burlap sacks. We don't do any big advertising or anything. Mostly, people just find us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign while driving down the canal road. My brother helps me with the accounts, and we have two other guys who do the heavy lifting in the warehouse. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the big doors to let the sunlight in so we can keep working. It’s quiet work, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to become some giant corporation; we just want to keep the local growers supplied with what they need each season.
