About St. Jude'S School & Cultural Society – Education in Gorakhpur
Being over here in Mohaddipur, we see a lot of changes in the neighborhood, but the school stays pretty much the same. We have been part of the area for a good while now. It’s not just about the classes; we have the cultural society side of things too, which keeps us pretty busy throughout the year. You’ll often find us getting ready for some small event or just trying to keep the place tidy after a long day. The building has its own quirks, like any old place in town. The rooms are filled with wooden desks and posters the kids made. We don't have a huge team, just enough people to make sure the kids are supervised and the subjects are taught properly. On rainy days, the hallways get a bit muddy from all the feet coming in, but that’s just how it goes here. We don't spend much on big advertisements or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor at the shop. The kids here are from all over the local streets. We try to keep things organized, even when it gets a bit chaotic during the lunch breaks. It’s a lot of work running a school and the society together, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. We just want the students to do their work and maybe learn a bit about our traditions while they are here.
