Vandey Bharti National School

Vandey Bharti National School is right here in Gorakhpur, specifically in the 273001 area. We have been a part of this community for some time now. The school building itself is not anything extraordinary to look at from the outside, just a regular place where local kids come to learn their daily lessons. We have classrooms with wooden benches and blackboards that have seen many years of use, but they still do the job just fine. In the mornings, you can hear the kids chatting and laughing before the first bell rings. It is always a bit of a scramble getting everyone into their seats, especially the younger ones who always have so much energy to burn. We do not use any high-tech gadgets or expensive equipment here; we just stick to the books and the standard curriculum. Most of the teachers live nearby, and many of the students just walk to the school from the surrounding streets. It gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up outside, but we make sure to sweep the floors every afternoon. There is a small area where the children can spend their break time, though it is mostly just dirt and a bit of shade under the trees. We focus on the basics like reading, writing, and history. It is an honest school where we know most of the families by name.
