Ramasreyji Farmer Producer Company Limited

You'll find the Ramasreyji group right at Ram Aasre’s house, House Number 1 in Chandpur. Since it's right there in Unnao, everyone knows where to find us. We started this producer company because things were getting a bit tough for individual farmers to handle on their own. It’s mostly just us neighbors coming together to talk about the crops and the livestock. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work ourselves. Some days are slow, especially when we’re waiting for the harvest, but other times it’s completely frantic. We deal with all sorts of things, from getting the right fertilizers to making sure the irrigation is working like it should. Sometimes the paperwork for the government gets confusing, but we sit down and try to figure it out together. It’s a bit of a messy process, but that’s life here. We aren't trying to sell anyone anything fancy. We’re just trying to get a fair price for the hard work we put into the dirt. You’ll usually see a few of us hanging around the house talking shop. We don’t have much in the way of fancy furniture, just enough chairs for everyone to sit and talk. It’s about being practical and helping each other stay afloat when things get tight during the off-season. It's tough, but we manage to stay busy and keep the place running okay.
