Prabesh Kissan Unnati Producer Companylimited is based in Kakua Hakimpura. We operate from Lakhmi Singh’s premises in the Agra area. This isn't a big city business. It’s just a bunch of us farmers who decided to pool our resources. We’ve been farming these lands for a long time. The idea was to help each other out with getting better supplies and finding places to sell our crops. It’s a practical way to handle the business side of farming. We don't have a lot of formal meetings. Usually, we just talk things over while we're working or when we meet up at the house. Keeping track of everything is a bit of a chore, but it’s necessary. Agra is a busy place, and we’re just a small part of the agricultural side of it. We don’t make big promises. We just try to get the work done and hope for a decent harvest. The company name sounds a bit formal, but we’re the same people we’ve always been. If you come looking for us, you’ll find us in the village. We aren't hidden away in some office block. It’s just honest work. We deal with the daily problems as they come up, whether it’s the equipment breaking down or the price of seeds going up.
